Farm to Table Cooking Class

A long-time vegetarian, Chef Margaret Riesen was raised in Switzerland among people who grew most of their own food. Meat was not often on the menu, and her preference for plant-based meals began early in life. As the owner of a plant-based catering business, Riesen loves demonstrating that healthy meals do not have to be boring, and that healthy meals in fact can be delicious! Her educational background is in Biology, and she taught cooking classes for 12 years at Santa Barbara Community College’s Continuing Education program.
